About The Jorge Hernández Cultural Center

The Jorge Hernández Cultural Center (JHCC) is a multi-functional dynamic rental facility converted into a 450-person capacity performance venue from a historic church in 1986. It is adjacent to La Casa de la Cultura (historically renovated from the adjacent parish house in 2003) that includes an art gallery, dance studio and visual arts studio.

The JHCC is a versatile space that has been used for a wide variety of rental events. The stunning architecture, maintained from the original church, compliments every event that we host. Fully equipped with a sound system, lighting system, two full liquor bars, performance stage, and an extensive preferred vendor list of caterers, sound technicians, djs, and decorators; this space is ideal for your next event!
