>> Pathway Technology Campus
An educational partnership between Inquilinos Boricuas en
Acción (IBA) and Bunker Hill Community College; Pathway
Technology Campus (PTC) provides low-income residents of the
South End/Lower Roxbury neighborhood with opportunities in
their own neighborhood to: complete their GED and take adult
education classes; transition into and enroll in college-level
classes; and participate in job readiness and workforce development
training that opens “Pathways to Economic Self-Sufficiency.”
Strong case management, free child care, direct connection
to a community college and a three-pronged approach (life
skills development, academic enrichment and workforce development)
distinguish PTC from other programs.

>> Community Empowerment Program
IBA’s Community Empowerment Program empowers over 150
residents of the Villa Victoria affordable housing community
to live healthier, more active, independent and fulfilling
lives. IBA's innovative, caring, linguistically-appropriate
and culturally targeted approach helps residents garner income
maximization benefits, while offering holistic programming
in the areas of health, arts, recreation and social services.
A unique program characteristic is our integration of elders
into the social fabric of the entire community and empowering
them to shape the programming that they participate in.
For further information about the Community Empowerment Program,
please contact Mirna Garcia at (617) 266-4050 x310 or mgarcia@iba-etc.org.
