General Manager:
The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for booking and coordinating all events and programming, as well as day-to-day management of the building and facilities at 85 W Newton Street.  The GM will offer legendary customer service to all internal and external renters, staff and agency stakeholders.  The GM will use pricing and decision guidelines to book events that will contribute to weekly and monthly revenue goals and further IBA and the Arts and Culture Program missions and strategic goals. The GM will be responsible for direct supervision of the Assistant General Manager and House Manager. The GM will be responsible for direct supervision of the Assistant General Manager. This position will require a good deal of flexibility and availability during nights and weekends and requires an entrepreneurial approach.

Pre-School Teacher:
As a Preschool teacher you will be responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team and functions as team leader or co-leader.  The Preschool Teacher is responsible for working with the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the curriculum, assessing the needs of individual children, and working with parents, with active participation of other members of the teaching team.  Teachers at Escuelita Borikén participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure up to date knowledge in the areas of child development and teaching.

Gallery Assistant Intern:
IBA is recruiting four (4) creative, committed, and self-starting individuals with strong leadership ability and organizational skills to be Art Gallery Assistants/Interns. These interns will work with the Manager of the Arts and Culture Department to assist in day to day operations of the gallery.  Gallery operations include assisting IBA curators with exhibits as necessary, staffing front desk to monitor incoming traffic, giving tours of exhibits and being fully informed on artist’s and their work.

Communications Intern:
IBA is recruiting creative, committed, and self-starting individuals with strong inter-personal skills to be Communications Interns.  These interns will help The Arts and Culture Department to manage branding, press management, press releases, press kits, relationship building, expanding brand recognition, event marketing, facility marketing, and proactively finding new effective ways to expand department and organization recognition and community awareness.  Interns will be heavily involved in executing a series of focus groups for the brand development of the department.

Marketing Intern:
IBA is recruiting creative, committed, and self-starting individuals with strong inter-personal skills to be Administrative/Marketing Assistants.  These interns will help La Casa de la Cultura to manage and market rental opportunities, multiple arts performances, concerts and programs in a brand-new, state of the arts studio/gallery and performance hall.

Event Managing Intern:
IBA is recruiting creative, committed, and self-starting individuals with strong leadership ability and organizational skills to be the Arts and Culture Events Interns. These interns will work with the Manager of the Arts and Culture Department to assist in coordinating all activities with events at the facility, including the planning, organizing and controlling of events within the facility to meet contractual obligations and quality customer service standards.

Arts Fundraising Intern:
IBA is recruiting a creative, committed, and self-starting individual with strong writing skills to be the Arts Fundraising Intern. This intern will assist Lthe Arts and Culture Department in identifying new funding sources and diversifying its programs’ funding base, while also researching information, structuring and writing grant proposals, concept papers and helping to develop new projects.
